Today I am going to talk about a non-face-to-face conference

 

 

I would like to define that a non-face-to-face conference is an event that can maximize participants in a virtual space and minimize the number of on-site participants excluding required personnel.

 

 

I configured this conference with YouTube streaming and zoom live streaming. First of all, the participants you see on the screen are those who entered through the zoom app.

 

 

The stage on-site was made up of LEDs.

We connected all the video sources using switchers, dividers, and splitters. As a result, I began to think about the height of the floor and the brightness of the stage lighting with the auditorium and not to cover the eyesight for LEDs.

 

 

So naturally, the lighting tower, camera, and sound position, and the location of the control tower have been configured. And the most important system was the Internet wired cable to enable online. As you know, everything is useless if there is no internet. We have tried to connect the lines through the window on the second floor of the event hall.

 

 

To protect the floor of the gym was as important as the heavy equipment was brought in. So we had to do maintenance work that there is no scratch between the floor and the structures.

The stage & lighting team provided additional supplements with wood carvings.

 

By the way…

 

Despite the use of gym floor tapes, there was an accident where the floor varnish came off the adhesive.

At that time, I decided to focus on on-site settings and rehearsals more than the floor compensation part later.

 

 

It was most urgent to complete the setup hardware system and rehearsals including technique rehearsal, dry rehearsal, performance rehearsal, even full rehearsal…

 

 

The point of rehearsal is

“Practice like reality, Reality like practice”

Can be said.

 

 

To those who participate in the video, we announced the pre-rehearsal time to meet and checked whether they can hear the sound well, whether the video interview is okay, and we had to decide the order of the interview.

 

 

The monitor is also displayed in ZOOM live well?

Does it match the actual broadcasting, and can the MC see it well?

We had to configure to check and check.

 

 

A good director doesn’t mean he or she is good at directing.

We have to be good at helping staff and collaborating with them when problems happened. If the rehearsal is good, the final event will be good.

 

 

It’s time to put a cue sign so it goes well with the rehearsal.

 

 

We did our best for the live streaming conference.
